Although their styles are all different, their cult classic films share a similar appeal. Hitchcock with his farcical story telling and over the top films (Vertigo, The Birds...), Argento having the ability to create inscrutable story lines, and Rollin for his servile yet must love French films. They were masters in their time and not only became legendary horror film directors, but captivated the essence and style of the late 50's, 60's and 70's. I am a huge classic horror movie buff and these men have all inspired my love and taste for films and imagery as a whole.
